Venture Teams / Partners
Put operating capacity inside companies you want to see succeed.
Fund execution, not exposure. Enable bounded deployments against real operating objectives—not advertising inventory.
Back the work
that moves a company forward.
A partner funds Venture Teams capacity inside companies it has an economic or strategic interest in supporting. The company defines the problem; we construct the deployment.
This is the same underlying product a company can purchase directly. Funding changes who pays, not who controls student employment or the company’s work.
Potential partners include portfolio investors, corporate ecosystem partners, banks, accelerators, universities and public-sector organisations. These are partner categories, not confirmed commitments.
A record of the work.
Not a claim without evidence.
- 01
Objective
What did the company need to become true?
- 02
Execution
What did the deployment actually do and decide?
- 03
Output
What tangible work or result was produced?
- 04
Validation
To what extent was the intended outcome achieved, and what evidence supports that conclusion?
The record distinguishes activity from outcomes and intended results from achieved ones. Reporting and acknowledgement remain subject to appropriate company, student and project permissions.
A founding deployment.
A founding cohort.
£5,000
One complete Venture Team deployment.
The current pilot unit: three paid students working against one startup objective.
£15,000
The founding Edinburgh cohort.
3 Venture Teams. 9 paid students. 3 startups.
These are Cohort 0 economics—not a permanent price for every Venture Teams deployment. Team size follows the problem.
The current pilot deployment shape
5 October–4 December 2026. 9 weeks, with 4 paid hours per student each week: 108 paid team-hours per team. Student pay is £14/hour gross.
The funded unit includes student employment, programme management, employment and compliance infrastructure, execution budget and contingency.
Founding deployments are currently being assembled in Edinburgh.
Planned launch is subject to funding, final scopes and remaining legal and insurance checks.
Fund the deployment.
Respect the boundaries.
Funding does not confer control.
- No automatic candidate access or preferential hiring rights.
- No control over student selection, placement or employment decisions.
- No rights in a host company’s intellectual property or equity.
Venture Teams remains responsible for student selection and employment. The company provides direction within the agreed objective. Funding is not an equity investment or a recruitment-access product.
